Dual Wheel Over-Centre Clamps

Double wheel clamp is a special fastener used to securely lock the external double wheels of a tractor onto the internal wheels. According to different settings, these devices rely on durable snap on or T-shaped rail clamp components that are tightened with J-hooks and lifting ring nuts to provide heavy-duty traction and stability. Common styles and hardware include: T-shaped rail clamp: a continuous welded steel rail directly fixed on the double wheel edge. Wheel rim clamp: designed to clamp and lock the outer edge of the inner wheel. Hook bolt and lifting ring nut: the basic hardware required to connect the fixture to the tractor hub. Based on the size and weight of the tractor, it is generally recommended to use at least 4 to 8 clamps per wheel to prevent slipping on heavy tillage or uneven terrain. The design of the tractor's dual-wheel clamp ensures easy installation onto the fixed central wheel. The unique removable shims enable the clamp to function properly. When installing the lifting nut into the wheel's counterweight hole or attaching it to the rim bolt.

The clamp is connected to the power rail, which is located on the exterior of the dual wheel rim, rather than on the spacer strip. Installing and tensioning the clamp at this location is much easier and safer, without the need to make adjustments deep inside the wheel.

Once the clamps are properly tensioned, they are locked in place with the accompanying "R-clips" to prevent accidental release.
